of our 3rd laser cutting machine a Bystronic Byspeed 5.2 KW.
This will increase our cutting capacity to 20.0mm in Mild Steel,
16.0 mm in Stainless Steel and 10.0 mm in Aluminium. |

We are pleased to announce that we will soon
take delivery of our second laser cutting machine, a Bystronic
Bystar 3015. Bystar 3015 is deemed by many to be one of the
world's best for rotary cutting of round, square and rectangular
tubes. With Bystar it is possible to cut profiles and tubes
up to a maximum diameter of 315mm. Tubes up to 155mm can be
fed through the spindle reducing handling time significantly.
Bystar 3015 will also cut the standard flat section components:
- Mild steel to 16mm;
- Stainless steel to 12mm;
- And Aluminium up to 8mm;
Since we commenced operations,
demand has steadily increased for a rotary laser cutting capability;
this new Bystar 3015 will fill the void and add a significant
new dimension to our laser cutting service.
Commissioning of our Bystar 3015 is scheduled for the first
week of November 2004.

Ultimate Laser officially opened for business and commenced
production operations as of Monday 1st March 2004. Current lead
times 2-3 days. |

The installation of our new 4.0kW Bystronic Byspeed
Laser including the automatic plate loading
system was completed on the 26th February. After completion
of some detailed fine tuning the laser was successfully commissioned
with excellent cutting results of mild steel, aluminium and
stainless steel materials on Friday 27th of February. This Bystonic
Byspeed model has rapid output cutting capabilities, fully automatic
CNC laser cutting of simple and complicated shapes, also ideally
suited for perforation cutting of thin materials up to 3mm thickness. |
